PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk posted a profit growth for the year attributable to the parent company owners throughout 2020 of around 11.47% to Rp20.804 trillion from the previous year Rp18.663 trillion.

Based on the financial reports published on Friday (30/4), Telkom's revenue was at Rp136.462 trillion or an increase of 0.66% from Rp135.567 trillion.

Telkom's depreciation and amortization expenses increased by around 24.65% or from Rp23.178 trillion to Rp28.892 trillion. The state-owned telecommunication company could manage the rate of loss on a foreign exchange similar to the previous year of Rp86 billion.

In addition, Telkom has succeeded in reducing the loss rate of investment value decline by 34.89% or from Rp1.172 trillion to Rp763 billion.

However, Telkom has to bear the high net loss of associated entities of around 48.19% to Rp246 billion.
